On April 13th, the trainers’ working group of the project “Training to Win” meet online to discuss the development of the training program for BMX trainers.

Our trainers developed training course topics as “BMX competition” and “BMX season planning” or “training methodology”

Our project is working intensively to develop a training course for BMX trainers, which will be an open educational resource, available to all those interested in this sport throughout Europe.

A training program will serve as a guide for coaches, especially those riders that want to became a coach, having a wealth of practical driving experience, but need to supplement and strengthen their theoretical knowledge base in this sport

second Transnational Project Meeting

On the 21st, the second Transnational Project Meeting will be held at the Villanueva de Gállego Campus of the San Jorge University and on the 22nd at the Hotel Zenit Don Yo in Zaragoza.

Our project is working intensively to develop a training course for BMX trainers, which will be an open educational resource, available to all those interested in this sport throughout Europe.

The training course will include several sections:

The topics of the first section will be devoted to theoretical general competencies in sport, including psychology, pedagogical methods, etc.

The second part will include specific content required for BMX sports on physical condition, sports rules, techniques, tactics, psychological aspects.

The third section will be devoted to practice, in which all the acquired theoretical knowledge can be applied in practical training

On April 23rd and 24th is taking place the Spanish BMX Cup in Zaragoza.

On Friday, April 22nd, as the opening act for this event, BMX School Zaragoza Club together with the San Jorge University of Zaragoza, will organize a MOTIVATION conference AND TRAINING workshop OF THE EUROPEAN PROJECT.

The I training workshop on the Athlete’s Environment is one of the activities scheduled in the project action plan of the BMX Training to Win Project, a European project co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus + Program.

The purpose of this project is to design a specific training program for BMX trainers, through the creation of a basic course and several complementary workshops, with theoretical-practical content, theoretical-practical content, built between the project partners, who are experts in different areas.

The workshop are structured around three areas of the athlete's environment:

From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. will take place a motivation and training day of the European Training to Win project, designed for athletes and families of the National BMX.

Wannes Magdelijns – 2019 Cadet BMX World Champion, Countless Victories and International Championships, one of the great promises of world BMX.

Adriana Domínguez – Ambassador of the European project, Spanish representative in the 2021 Papendal World Cup and several times Champion of Spain.

Francis Arribas – Sales Manager of SCOTT Spain and several times Spanish BMX Champion. he made his passion his profession.

“Evolution of Bmx, where we come from and where we are going.”

Rafael Izquierdo – Manager of the Training to Win Project, director of schools and professional BMX trainer, 5th in the World Challenge at Zolder 2019. An interesting presentation on how BMX is evolving, knowing where we come from, knowing how and where we should move forward.
